Ever want to go to the moon?

Now you can! And in 3D animated style!

Playstation’s Home network is currently featuring Lunar Leap, a 3D motion game created by our customer nDreams as part of the Moonbase expansion. Players boost themselves in zero gravity across a giant crater, landing safely on designated pads, within a fixed timeframe. If they can successfully complete the game, Playstation game players win an exclusive GAME space suit outfit!

How did Mixamo help make game creation even easier? We provided seamless control rig support for Maya on all of the Mixamo character animations they used in creating the fun zero-gravity jumping game. As customers, they were able to do real-time online customization of any of the motions that we captured & cleaned! They used some great 3D jump animations to create a really fun game! So hop over to the Moonbase station while you’re playing on the Playstation Network!

Quote from our customer:
“An extremely capable and friendly service. As per usual, development time was tight and the online viewer was a breath of fresh air. I was able to alter an animation in real-time at my location to suit my requirements. This meant that the usual iterative process was completed in far fewer steps and in a fraction of the time. That’s just what we need. I would certainly use them again.”
-Mike Souto, Senior Producer, nDreams

Thanks Mike! We’re excited to see your game in action, too!
