We’re always working on new partnerships and innovation here at Mixamo. So we were very excited to work with Chris Bregler at NYU to help create motions that would be useful in political discourse.
For this project, we used state-of-the-art mocap (motion capture) gloves that could truly track when a politician’s hand waves or when he pounds on the table (like the video below). It’s pretty interesting to see just how many ways motion capture can be used and what eventual products can be made.
